Exodus, NST as Insider recruits

Malaysia's media landscape is shifting. Lionel Morais, probably a single of a most seasoned crime reporters East of Suez, is leaving a New Straits Times, that turns 168 years subsequent year, to join a five-year aged news portal Malaysian Insider as a really comparison editor. He's receiving half a dozen crime reporters from a pro-government investiture to fill a vacuum in TMI left by Leslie Lau, who has give up to join a Malay Mail with 30 others. A large blow for Malaysia's oldest newspaper.
Good news is, until they find a replacement for Lionel as well as his reporters, there'll be a symbol decrease of crime rate, during least in a pages of NST.
I hear a little journos from Singapore will be joining a Malaysian Insider ...
