Media Personality 2012: Malaysiakini's Premesh Chandran

Malaysiakini Chief Executive Officer Premesh Chandran has been declared 'Media Personality of 2012 by a Association of Accredited Advertising Agents (4As) during a celebration cooking final night.

He received a honour from 4As boss Tony Savarimuthu as partial of a Kancil Awards, at large regarded as Malaysia's largest as good as most prestigious endowment in a promotion industry.

Second endowment for Malaysiakini

This is a second time Malaysiakini has won a award. Malaysiakini editor-in-chief Steven Gan was Media Personality of 2010. Past recipients of a endowment have been The Sun political editor Zainon Ahmad (also in 2010) and The Sun editor ! as good as columnist R Nadeswaran (2009).

At yesterday's event, 56 categories of awards were given out to Malaysian promotion agencies for superb beautiful work in film, print, digital as good as radio with most hype as good as cheering from a crowd.

They included Advertiser of a Year, won by Petronas; Agency of a Year, Y & R; as good as a Chairman's Award, which went to Astro's Chief Operating Officer Henry Tan.
