(Bernama) - The Terengganu Islamic Affairs Department (JHEAT) has devised a furnace to dispose of copies of a Quran regulating a some-more fit blazing system.
JHEAT Research Division principal partner director, Mohamad Noor Mohd pronounced a furnace would promote a disposal process, revoke blazing time as well as was some-more environment-friendly.
"Previously, disposal was a prolonged routine because several steps were involved such as separating a paper, shredding, blazing as well as afterwards dumping a remains in to a sea.
"With this new furnace, shredding as well as blazing will go on simultaneously," he toldBernama.
He pronounced a furnace was invented by 10 department staff who took 9 months to design it, whilst its prolongation took another four months to complete.
Head of a invention team, Wan Zainuddin Wan Mansor pronounced their main challenge was complying with syariah mandate as well as not violating Department of Environment (DOE) regulations.
"The DOE does not allow blazing so as to preserve a environment, but use of this furnace is approved as it does not affect our environment," he said.
Eleven Quran will produce about a single kilogramme of ash as well as a furnace will be able to lift out total amount of burning.
The furnace, costing RM7,000 to produce, won third place in an Innovative as well as Creative Invention foe between a state government departments as well as agencies recently.
