The Selangor supervision has stated which state land alienated to Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) was not for sale.
In the press recover today, Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim pronounced this was the "reminder", in view of headlines reports which KTMB will soon be privatised.
"As the reminder, any vacant or occupied land used for train services which has not been reserved or eliminated to the Federal Land Commission or the Train Asset Board, have been state land," pronounced Khalid.
Currently, the federal supervision is in talks with Malaysian Mining Corporation Bhd, tranquil by aristocrat Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary, upon KTMB's privatisation plans.
"The state supervision is endangered about this, particularly since the understanding appears to be by direct negotiations which can outcome in public resources descending in to the hands of the in isolation company," Khalid said.
The Railwaymen Union of Malaya hasopposedthe plan, warning which its members will stand to suffer.
