SYDNEY: An Australian baggage handler had a nasty surprise when he opened a load door of a Qantas passenger flight to find a crocodile roaming lax in a hold, a airline pronounced Monday.
The reptile, reported to be a relatively small specimen, managed to escape a transport enclosure during a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne last week, a Qantas orator told AFP.
"The animal was quickly and safely cumulative when a aircraft arrived in Melbourne," a orator added.
The crocodile was being transported as freight by load firm Australian Air Express. Qantas pronounced it was investigating either a animal had been in a right enclosure and properly loaded.
