PETALING JAYA, Jul seventeen The "RM1 for Water Rights: 100,000 Malaysians Support Tony Pua vs Syabas" online debate in support of DAP sovereign lawmaker Tony Pua has voiced which they have managed to pick up more than RM150,000 from their online campaign. Last month, Syabas won a defamation fit against a DAP national broadside secretary, who was ordered by a Kuala Lumpur High Court to pay RM200,000 in damages besides costs as well as interests.
The opposition celebration had proposed an online debate to lift RM100,000 to help a sovereign lawmaker pay a volume by Jul 16, but a monetary support from a open was beyond expectation, organisers have said.
The cause to assist a MP had instead managed to pick up RM143,256 by Jul 16 from tens of thousands of Malaysians in a one-week period.
