PAC pins blame on ministry reps for NFC scandal



Findings by a public accounts committee (PAC) upon a National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) scandal pointed to Finance Ministry officials who lacked procedural as well as legal knowledge in executing their duties as member as well as watchdogs within a company.

"We found which officers who represented a (Finance) Ministry in NFC were not skilled in their responsibilities as a house member.

"Maybe they know their responsibilities but their actions to ensure which sure procedures have been carried out in a correct manner were not taken," PAC chairperson Azmi Khalid told a press conference this dusk after chairing a panel's meeting.
