MACC: Fernandez mentioned corruption


MACC's senior manager of investigations Mustafar Ali says which formed upon the reports in internal dailies, the Tenaganita chief spoke about crime with courtesy to the migrant workers issue.
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) pronounced it is looking sum with courtesy to romantic Irene Fernandez's claim which crime is involved in the poor treatment of migrant workers.
Speaking to FMT, MACC senior manager of investigations Mustafar Ali pronounced the elect was looking into the assemblage of the Tenaganita senior manager director's statement, formed upon reports in internal dailies.
"We have been not investigating her. We have been just removing the little sum from her," he added.
On Tuesday, internal dailies carried Fernandez's talk with Jakarta Post, in which she was quoted as saying which Malaysia was not safe for migrant workers due to the lack of safety regulations.
The Indonesian newspaper also claimed which Fernandez had attributed the complaint to crime between Malaysian officials.
The report perceived brickbats from the government, with Deputy Human Resources Minister Maznah Mazlan describing Fernandez's remarks as "unethical, inaccurate as well as unpatriotic."

'I was misquoted'
Fernandez, upon the other hand, denied creation statements upon crime as well as claimed which Jakarta Post had misquoted her upon several matters.
"I didn't have any statements about employers paying the police or shopping court verdicts as reported by Jakarta Post. All we pronounced was which employers lend towards to act with! impunit y," she said.
Fernandez combined which she was also misquoted by Jakarta Post as saying which employers went unpunished because they paid the police as well as immigration officers in collusion to blame the workers instead.
"My statement was which undocumented workers have been the ones punished while employers get away," she said.
Fernandez had sent an email to Jakarta Post upon Tuesday looking for the correction.
The veteran romantic told FMT which she was endangered which MACC was acting in the reactionary demeanour over the issue.
"I'm endangered which public institutions have been being used opposite the tellurian rights romantic like me," she said.
MACC officers have been scheduled to encounter Fernandez at her office at 10am tomorrow.
