DUNGUN, May 10 - At slightest 10 people were injured in an explosion during the Petronas Gas Processing Plant 3 (GPP3) in Paka here this evening.
Media reports contend 4 of the victims were reported to have have suffered fourth-degree burns and all 10 were sent to Dungun hospital for treatment. Microblogging site Twitter had postings suggesting the few deaths though nothing has been confirmed yet.
The glow brigade sent two glow engines to put out the glow in about 20 minutes.
A Petronas official said the national oil company personnel have been questioning the incident prior to the statement is issued.
