Johor police set up special team to investigate Pulau Rawa incident

JOHOR BAHRU, May 10 The Johor military have set up a special team to investigate a fracas at a review upon Pulau Rawa, nearby Mersing last Saturday.

Johor Chief Police Officer, Datuk Mokhtar Mohd Sharif said military had opened up an review paper as well as a review would be carried out under Section 452 of a Penal Code (House-trespass after preparation done for causing harm to any person).

"So far, statements from 9 witnesses have been available to support in a investigation," he said in a statement today.

He said that until today, military had perceived 9 military reports upon a situation done by Malaysian witnesses who were upon a island at a time of a incident.
