The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) appears to have a tiny accord following a controversy upon designs of brand new buildings but insist there be no images of idols.

The Kelantan state supervision will allow buildings to be constructed but any Islamic facilities so prolonged they do not have elements that have been opposite a religion, said Kelantan Chief Minister Abdul Aziz.

"Islam is a concept sacrament as well as is suitable for all races. The Buddhist organisation can set up it [its brand new building] as prolonged as it does not have elements that go opposite Islam," he told reporters upon Saturday.

"For instance, they can have any Chinese designs, architecture or colors but they have been disheartened from putting images of idols upon a buildings."

He was asked to comment upon a controversy involving a Kelantan Buddhist Association, that was required to abide by metropolitan by-laws requiring brand new buildings within a jurisdiction to have Islamic features.

It had been reported that a Kelantan Buddhist Association had submitted an interest to a state supervision for a building to be constructed with Chinese facilities at Jl. Sultan Zainal Abidin here.

Abdul Aziz, who is also PAS spiritual leader, said a state supervision had no problems with a Chinese village as well as highlighted that they had built a Golden Jubilee Mosque, better known as a Chinese Mosque, that was desirous from his! revisit to Beijing.

"The mosque was created 100 percent based upon Chinese design as well as architecture. Previously, most Chinese groups had also approached me to find capitulation to set up Chinese-style buildings as well as I had approved them," he added.
