Defending a police, he pronounced a group in blue had no choice though to make use of force in sequence to stop, what he termed as hooliganism.
In future, Mahathir referred to which a Bar Council be tasked with gripping assent as well as sequence during violent demonstrations as well as riots.
"I am certain Bersih 4.0 [under a Bar Council's watch] will be giveaway of assault as a demonstrators would not be stopped from violation manners as well as laws," he pronounced in his ultimate blog posting.
Yesterday, a Bar upheld a fortitude during its unusual general meeting condemning a military for using extreme force during a rally.
The lawyers also demanded a open reparation from Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein as well as a Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar.
Noting which a military had restrained themselves, Mahathir pronounced in alternative countries, a protesters could have been shot.
'What have been they supposed to do?'

"Allow a hooligans to do what they like? Accept being kicked by a hooligans? Accept carrying their unit cars being crushed as well as overturned?" he said.
Mahathir pronounced there were presumably 250,000 protesters who took to a streets, observant which a figure was 250 times more than which of a police, as well as they were violent.
"They broke a barriers set up by City Hall to stop them from going into Dataran Merdeka. From a video clips as well as pictures a demonstrators not usually broke a barriers though attacked, literally pounded a military who were tasked to keep a demonstrators from violation a barriers.
"They chased military cars, cracked a windscreen as well as overturned it. They kicked a law enforcemetn officer who had fallen upon a ground," he said, adding which a military was forced to retaliate.
"They [the police] cannot only mount by as well as do nothing or allow themselves to be beaten up or allow open property to be damaged. To prevent this assault they need to make use of force," he said.

According to Mahathir, Malaysians owed most to their military force.
The police, he added, might not be a perfect force though Malaysians felt safe as well as secure when they were around.
"How would you similar to to do divided with a military altogether? How would you transport if a military have been not allowed to make use of force opposite their assailants?
"I would similar! to to s ee what members of a Bar Council would do if people flog them, pound their automobile windscreens as well as overturn them. They would be using to report to a police. When a military have been assaulted who do they run to?" he asked.
