You deserve it, Higher Education Minister tells attacked students


(Harakah Daily) -Instead of condemning acts of assault by the host early this morning, Higher Education minister Khaled Nordin struck an unsympathetic chord by chiding students who were attacked.
In comments upon his Twitter account, Khaled (pic) pronounced the students should not expect sympathy when such incidents take place.
"No one told them to stay out at Dataran. So when these things happen, do not cry for pity," he wrote.
Earlier this week, Khaled, instead of addressing the evidence by students for the abolishment of study loans under the National Higher Education Fund Corporation that they pronounced were opressive, told students not happy with the complement to return their borrowings.
Khaled's latest comments were made in the wake of the attack currently upon the 'Occupy Dataran' site at Dataran Merdeka by the host of the little sixty thugs in the diminutive hours of the morning.
This morning, the stay out at the square that had been confirmed by only the dozen of students, saw the hive of activity, with the array of protesters growing.
Dataran Merdeka, the venue for electoral reforms convene Bersih 3.0 upon April 28, has seen the hive of activities since last weekend.
Calling the site 'Universiti Dataran Merdeka', multiform people were invited to give giveaway lessons upon various subjects, together with the crash-course upon Arabic, caricature-drawing as well as poetry. The lessons are seen as symbolic of their direct for giveaway tertiary education.
The opposition to PTPTN gained momentum following Pakatan Rakyat's pledge to implement giveaway tertiary preparation for Malaysian citizens, as well as became some-more vocal following the explanation of the array of monetary scandals costing billions of ringgit of tax payers' money.
