Double demo at Parliament gates


Two opposite demonstrations were hold in front of Parliament this morning, though both had one theme - criticising a government.
KUALA LUMPUR: Two opposite groups demonstrated against a supervision in front of a Parliament's gates this morning.
At around 10:30am, a larger of a dual saw more than 80 Indians many of them in their 60s entertainment to ask because a supervision had unsuccessful to give them their identity cards.

"We have been here peacefully because you have a crisis, where more than 300,000 people have not been since their papers such as birth certificates as well as blue ICs.
"[Because of this], they have been suffering because they do not have access to education, jobs, disinfectant or have a right to explain Socso or Employee Provident Fund (EPF) benefits!" he said.
Armed with a list of a people present, Surendran demanded which a 80-plus be since their MyKads within 48 hours.
He also demanded which a supervision "identify" a 300,000 as well as soon give them their MyKads, or face nationwide protests in a future.

In a Parliamentary written response, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told Manickavasagam which 42,493 people had been since citizenships from 2008 to Mar 2 this year.
The minister combined which a sum of 225,222 people had been made permanent residents from 2008 to February 29 this year, together with 162,233 Indonesians.
Anti-Time protest
The second proof was directed at local telecommunications provider Time Dot Com, which was accused of sacking 549 of a workers but compensation.
