Minister shows disdain for students, deputy says attacks matter of concern

KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 19 Malaysia's two top higher preparation officials currently released vastly contradictory remarks upon the alleged attack upon the student activists during Dataran Merdeka, with apportion Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin refusing to sympathise with the organisation whilst his deputy Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah expressing concern.
In the Twitter posting this morning, Khaled(picture), responding to reports of the attack, pointed out which no the single had told the organisation to camp out during the iconic block in the initial place.
"Takde siapa joke suruh berkhemah di Dataran, bila berlaku apa2 perkara, jgn tagih simpati," he wrote. [Translation: No the single asked them to camp out during Dataran, when anything happens, do not be so addicted to sympathy.]
But when approached in Parliament here, Saifuddin pronounced he was relieved which no serious injuries were available in the early-morning fracas, adding which it was the "matter of concern".
The deputy apportion additionally steady his perspective which the students "have the right to be there" nonetheless not everybody concluded with their views.
The organisation of student activists has been camping out in tents, in shifts, since last Saturday after hundreds of them marched opposite the city's capital to lobby for free tertiary education, after being annoyed by pay-back conditions and conditions over the government's higher preparation loan scheme.
But this morning, the organisation claimed they were pounded by the mob of about 60 to 70 thugs garbed in black who demanded which they return home.
