Self-proclaimed 'God' sets himself ablaze in Russia

MOSCOW: A male in Russia, proclaiming to be "God", set himself ablaze as well as landed in hospital in the vicious condition with 70 percent burns, RIA Novosti reported.

A part of of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect, the set himself upon glow Monday in the Moscow region, police said.

The situation occurred in the village of Nakhabino, 33 km outward Moscow after the male bought fuel, poured it onto himself as well as set himself ablaze.

"According to the son of the injured man, his 43-year-old father had been the part of of the Jehovah's Witnesses as well as deliberate himself to be God," the police said.

Investigators have been probing the means of the man's self-murder attempt.
