MP: Billing to PMO not evidence of wrongdoing

Evidence claiming which the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) footed Najib Abdul Razak's daughter's engagement celebration has been shot down by Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan.

The celebration eventuality order (BEO) expelled by PKR plan director Rafizi Ramli, he said, cannot be equated with open supports being used for the party.

"They underlined the difference 'billed to PMO' in red (in the BEO)... 'Billed to PMO' equates to promulgation the check to the PMO. It doesn't meant the PMO paid the bills. Where is the budding minister's office? In the PMO.

NONE"For example, if we enter into an agreement to buy the automobile as well as they ask where to send the bill, we discuss it them to send it to ! my servi ce centre.

"Does it meant my service centre is paying for it? My bureau is there," Rahman (right) pronounced after the briefing for parliamentarians from the BN in Kuala Lumpur final night.

Rahman, who had hours progressing argued with Rafizi over Twitter, chastised the latter for perfectionist which Najib producesevidenceto prove his innocence.

"Where in the world do we have this kind of incident where someone accuses another, as well as then the indicted has to produce evidence?" he said.

'MACC inform not looseness for smearing'

If Rafizi, by NGO Jingga 13, has upon purpose misled the Malaysian Ant! i-Corrup tion Commission (MACC) with the document, Rahman said, then Rafizi would be probable for the RM100,000 excellent or 10 years' jail or both under Section twenty-seven of the MACC Act.

He add itionally criticised the opposition bloc for the 'habit' of holding press conferences rught away after lodging the MACC report.

"The MACC is fair to the indicted as well as the accuser... Section 29 of the MACC Act clearly states which when we make your inform to MACC, it is an offence to discuss it the whole world.

"What happens if the chairman is not guilty? Then he has been smeared as well as his repute is in tatters."

Rafiziclaimedlast Friday which the BEO from Shangri-La Hotel, which showed the total of RM409,767 billed to the PMO, as justification which the government had paid for the budding minister's private event.

Based upon this document. PKR-linked Jingga thirteen lodged areportwith the MACC, though the PMO hasdeniedthat open supports were used for the party.
