KUALA LUMPUR, February eighteen The Chinese have benefited from Barisan Nasional's (BN) pro-business policies though will keep abounding usually if they lend support to a ruling coalition, a budding minister said today.
Datuk Seri Najib Razak said a Chinese had prospered underneath BN rule overdue to their tough work and "strategic position" in a economy, indicating out that most of Malaysia's richest tycoons who have a "licence to imitation money" via benefaction agreements came from a community.
"You have been very, really entrepreneurial, certainly compared to a Bumis. You have been really industrious. You work hard. Some of we have been frugal though you're rich since you're thrifty. And we know how to do business.
"And if we have a supervision that believes in growth, (there will be) good opportunities. Tell me who will benefit? You will benefit," he said in his keynote address during a "Malaysian Chinese during a Crossroads" discussion here.
But Najib stressed that a Chinese will continue to do good economically usually if a nation remained stable, that he said would usually occur if there was no change in supervision and BN stayed in power.
"If this nation is in a state of commotion and even doubt do not talk about chaos your shares will plummet."
