Noh Omar denies NFC issue ever brought up in Cabinet

KLANG, Nov 19 Minister of Agriculture as well as Agro-based Industry Datuk Seri Noh Omar denied today which the preference to endowment the National Feedlot Centre (NFC) plan was discussed during Cabinet meetings.

"I can confirm which NFC is underneath the High-Impact Projects Committee as well as during the time of the loan approval to NFC, which was not underneath the Cabinet, not (mentioned) in the meetings," Noh (picture) told reporters after the launch of the farmers, stock breeders as well as fishermen's day jubilee during the Selangor Mardi domicile here.

PKR yesterday demanded which the Najib administration department disclose all Cabinet assembly mins from 2006 onwards to establish if Women, Family as well as Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil was directly concerned in the preference to endowment the NFC plan to her husband's company.

PKR strategy senior manager Rafizi Ramli pointed out which NFC senior manager authority Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail, Shahrizat's husband, had not denied the singular allegation as well as had merely offering explanations for the many discrepancies concerned in the federally-funded RM250 million cattle project.

Instead, he said, Mohamad Salleh had made three vital admissions when addressing the issue upon Thursday which his association had no experience in the cattle tillage industry prior to the plan award; which the RM250 million government loan had not been accompanied by the repayment schedule; as well as which the association had purchased "not one, though two" oppulance common ownership units for the whopping RM13.8 million in total.

The cattle tillage plan kicked off in 2008.
