As MCA trainer Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek addressed the celebration during the 58th annual general public today, his predecessor went upon an all-out attack against the current leaders upon Twitter.

The former ride minister told The Malaysian Insider in an interview last week which the Barisan Nasional (BN) member has not determined the pull for reform which saw the celebration remove twenty-five of the 40 sovereign as well as 59 of the 90 state seats it contested in Election 2008.

"MCA is still stuck in the mindset of being gungho with statements instead of delivering good governance. It is parroting aged polemic rather than delivering reforms asked for by voters," Ong said.

"If MCA continues upon this same aged trail as well as psyche, afterwards it is positively headed for irrelevance. Some have bluntly said we have been already irrelevant," he added.

Ong, who was deposed as MCA trainer by Dr Chua in the fractious energy struggle eighteen months ago, has admitted his disaster to convince the celebration to change the mindset during his ephemeral tenure in office. But he took honour in being responsible for opening investigations in to the RM12.5 billion Port Klang Free Zone scandal even yet comparison officers told him it was the sealed case.
