Husam Musa to be detained for two more days

PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa has been remanded for two days from today to assist investigations under Section 4 of the Sedition Act 1948 in connection with the matter he allegedly made on martyrdom.

The remand order was released by Magistrate Nik Habri Muhamad during the Kota Baharu military headquarters, where Husam is being held.

Police had applied for the remand order on the Salor representative by questioning officer ASP Noland A/L Janah.

Husam, 54, was detained during 4pm yesterday in Kampung Pandan, Ampang, Selangor by Federal military and was taken to Kota Baharu last night. PAS organ Harakahdaily had quoted him last week as observant which if any protester died during yesterday's Black 505 convene during Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur, which person would be deemed the martyr.

Husam's counsel later told reporters which the team of 10 lawyers would urge him.

Journalists and photographers were not authorised to come in the premises, which was incited into the temporary magistrate's court. Bernama, Jun 23, 2013.
