Indonesian maid dies, three others hurt after jump from shophouse in escape bid

KULIM, March 7 An Indonesian maid died as well as 3 others were injured after they jumped from a two-storey shophouse here two days ago to shun repatriation, military said.

Kulim military arch Supt Ghuzlan Salleh pronounced today a passed lady had been identified as Rohana, 44, as well as a alternative 3 as Nuriani Lubis, 26, Miliawati, 42, as well as Siti Sakmah, 26.

The situation occurred during about 6.30am when a 4 maids, living in a double-storey premises cum office of an employment agency, tried to escape, he said.
