KEPALA BATAS, November 10 There is no reason for a people to move up a polemics of Islam since it does not move good to anybody, pronounced former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today.
He pronounced a matter will only create worry in a society, generally between Muslims, as well as expressed concern that it would cause a split between them.
"The matter has never been questioned before. you don't see why it should now.
"When you are in a stable situation, no clash, there should not be issues raised to deliberately start racial togetherness in a country," he added.
Abdullah(picture), who is Kepala Batas Member of Parliament, was commenting on a letter sent by a non-Muslim to a headlines portal questioning a rationale of Malays being forced to be Muslims as well as a need for non-Muslims to convert to Islam to marry a Muslim. Bernama
