The Selangor supervision has expressed surprise which Petaling Jaya mayor Mohamad Roslan Sakiman has been transferred by Putrajaya upon 24-hour notice.
Selangor exco part of Ronnie Liu, whose portfolio includes overseeing local governments, pronounced neither he nor the menteri besar's bureau was told of the matter.
"It is the bit fishy as well as abnormal. It is all right to send civil servants, though why the twenty-four hour notice? This will disrupt our administration of the council," pronounced Liu when contacted.

Liu refused to assume upon the reasons for the remarkable transfer, though pronounced which Chief Secretary to the Federal Government Ali Hamsa owes the Petaling Jaya ratepayers an explanation.
MBPJ councillors have called for an emergency meeting to discuss the matter. They have been expected to convene during 4pm.

When contacted, Mohd Roslan pronounced the Public Services Department (PSD) has since him the "lateral transfer" to the post of Selangor deputy state secretary.
Saying he is only following directions, he denied which he had been told to leave his MBPJ post within twenty-four hours.
"As the civil servant, when the PSD (tells) we to leave, (y! ou) have to do so. I do not know where the headlines (of the remarkable transfer) comes from," he toldMalaysiakini.

"I will have to ask the state cabinet member as to what comes next. However, I understand which he is upon leave, so it may take time." Asked to comment, counsel as well as MBPJ councillor Derek Fernandez(left)said the send is "illegal" as well as "ultra vires" in nature.
"Under the Local Government Act 1976, the reign of the mayor is during the Selangor government's pleasure. The PSD cannot make the preference upon the own."
He pronounced the state supervision should have been consulted.
