Unspun was recently told of how a head of a communications consultancy left her people swinging in a wind.
If true, it would be a heinous action to commit upon one's underlings. The story goes which dual consultants had been having difficulties with one of their clients.
The customer was livid as a consultants clearly could not learn what she wanted. So in a huff she demanded which she see their boss.
When she met a boss, a trainer initial attempted to wrangle her approach out of a situation but when she pointed out which what her team delivered was approach short of what's needed, as well as it became very obvious, what did trainer lady do? She caved in, as well as concluded which it was slipshod work done by her minions right in front of a dual consultants.
What's wrong with that? In a consulting commercial operation it is order of thumb which a many comparison chairman should take a responsibility. If a customer was unhappy, she should have looked into a comment prior to meeting with a client.
If she found which her people were remiss she should accept shortcoming as well as go apologize to a customer but bitch as well as offer to have things right. And if her people were right, as well as a customer wrong, she should be ready to defend them.
What not to do is go in confused as well as when it looks like she could not bluff her approach out of a situation, spin upon her people. That is not decent as well as causes harm onto herself as it affects her credibility as a leader.
In this commercial operation we have it or mangle it by a number of people who choose to be led by us.
