SUNGAI PETANI - A woman rubber tapper died of a gunshot wound as well as her son was injured after he was hacked during a clash involving a group of men near their residence in Ladang Bukit Lembu, Gurun, final night.
K. Kalyani, 57, took a bullet in a cheek during a situation during about eleven pm while she was resting in front of a residence with her husband as well as alternative members of her family.
Her husband, M. Thannimalai, 63, said multiform men upon motorcycles as well as in cars came to an area near their residence as well as proposed fighting.
"I listened a gunshot though did not realise that my wife was hit until she collapsed as well as proposed to drain profusely," he told Bernama when approached during a Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital here today.
He said their son, Kathiraven, 23, was injured after he was hacked during a incident. Kathiraven has been admitted to a hospital.
