The Kuala Lumpur High Court was sensitive currently that former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad will be called as a counterclaim witness during a intrigue hearing of former ride apportion Dr Ling Liong Sik.
"We will be calling Mahathir,"said counterclaim counsel Wong Kian Kheong(left)when re-examining Ling this morning.However, Wong did not divulge further details.
However, a source close to a counterclaim counsel told reporters that a summons has been issued to Mahathir to crop up in justice next month.
"Probably (Mahathir) will crop up in justice in a week of October 8," a source said.
Ling, 69, is fortifying himself opposite a charge of intrigue a cupboard between Sept 25 and Nov 6, 2002, when Mahathir was a prime minister.
