Man jumps off moving plane in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: A male jumped out of the moving aircraft whilst it was about to take off from an airport in Malaysia, causing check in the moody operations.

Air Asia flight AK 5187 from Miri in Malaysia's northern Sarawak state to Kuala Lumpur was scheduled to take off during 7.40pm on Friday. However, it was behind for over an hour as the outcome of the runway drama.

A witness pronounced that as the plane was about to take off, the male suddenly non-stop the puncture doors as well as jumped out.

"The raft automatically opened. Other passengers started screaming. The plane was brought to the halt," the newcomer Siva Nathiran was quoted as saying.

AirAsia's regional head of moody operations Captain Fareh Ishraf Mazputra pronounced the aircraft had only started taxiing when the newcomer ran as well as non-stop the door.

"There were no injuries as well as the newcomer was arrested," he said.

The male was afterwards taken to Miri hospital. Sources pronounced the man, believed to be aged 24, did not suffer any injuries as the outcome of the fall.
