Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim has won a defamation fit against S Nallakaruppan ,the High Court ruled this afternoon.
After hearing submission in chambers by both counsels for Anwar as well as Nalla, High Court Judge YA Justice Dato' Su Geok Yiam struck off a Defendant's Statement of Defence upon a grounds which it was frivolous, resentful as well as tantamount to an abuse of court process.
Anwar's lawyers filed in an duplicate to strike off a Statement of Defence by Nallakaruppan after a latter had unsuccessful to furnish details as destined by a court order done upon 28.8.2009 to provide serve as well as better details to a allegations done by him.
