Najib hints at Hajj season polls

Jun 22: Despite being warned not to dispossess thousands of Muslims of their votes by land ubiquitous choosing when they have been divided during a Hajj season, prime minister Najib Razak seems bent upon doing exactly that.

"In a story we have conducted ubiquitous elections during a haj season," pronounced Najib as quoted by MCA-controlled every day The Star, fuelling conjecture that elections would be called to happen at a same time with a Hajj season.

Najib was believed to be referring to a 1986 ubiquitous choosing upon August 3, dual weeks before Hari Raya Haji, when many Muslims were already in Makkah as well as Madinah.

This year's Hajj falls at a end of October, though thousands of Malaysian pilgrims would be withdrawal for a Holy Lands weeks progressing as well as have been approaching to lapse usually a month after a Hajj is over.

Prior to this, PAS leaders warned Najib against land elections during a Hajj, observant it would dispossess thousands of Muslims of their right to vote.

PAS emissary boss Mohamad Sabu pronounced Najib should be answerable for fixation difficulty to people who have to perform their religious requisite if ubiquitous choosing during a Hajj season.

But Najib defended polls during this time, arguing that he was not stopping anyone from behaving a Hajj.

"Only God decides upon sins as well as blessings. We have been not stopping anyone if we wish to go for Haj, go," headlines portal The Malaysian Insider quoted him as saying.

Sensing that polls would be called during Hajj, PAS information arch Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has urged members directly concerned in a polls, including candidates, their representatives as well as choosing directors, to carry over their Hajj trip if choosing was called during that time. This led to accusations in a UMNO media that PAS wa! s fixati on governing body above Islamic obligations.

But many Muslim leaders have explained that whilst Hajj was obligatory, Islam has a set of alternative priorities including a requisite to select a obliged government.

PAS Youth arch Nasrudin Hasan has strike out at suggestions that a celebration was disallowing members from behaving a pilgrimage, observant a responsibility was upon BN.

"The government is urging people to vote, so that one is it? To opinion or to perform a Hajj? It's simple, if we wish them do both, afterwards don't have them at a same time!" he said.

Konsekrasi dlm acara Misa Radio Sonora Plg bersama bpk Uskup pd Senin twenty-one Mei 2012.

Radio Sonora Palembang mengadakan Misa Syukur bersama Bapak Uskup Agung Palembang. Misa diselenggarakan pada hari Senin, twenty-one Mei 2012 pada pk.19.00 bertempat di Kantor dan Studio Radio Sonora di Jalan Angkatan 45, Lrg Harapan I No.23 Palembang. Perayaan Ekaristi ini diadakan dalam rangka Ulang Tahun yang ke 43 Radio Sonora Palembang yang jatuh pada tgl. twenty Apr 2012 sekaligus sambung rasa dengan para pengusaha Katolik dan Keuskupan Agung Palembang. Misa Kudus dipimpin oleh bapak Uskup Agung Palembang Mgr Aloysius Sudarso, SCJ dibantu oleh romo Fransiskus de Sales, SCJ sebagai Delegatus Komsos Keuskupan Agung Palembang. Selain para pengusaha Katolik, hadir pula dalam Misa Kudus ini para anggota OMK Paroki Santo Yoseph Palembang. Sesudah Misa diputarkan Presentasi sejarah Radio Sonora Palembang sejak berdirinya hingga sekarang. Radio ini berdiri pada twenty Apr 1969 oleh para Mahasiswa Universitas Atmajaya yang pada saat itu didirikan di Palembang. Beberapa mahasiswa A! tmajaya dengan inisiatif priest RWM van Leeuwen, SCJ dengan modal nol mulai mendirikan Radio Atmajaya. Pada waktu itu memang banyak air wave air wave didirikan dan sifatnya masih amatir karena belum dikelola dengan manajemen yang baik. Mereka berdiri hanya karena hobi semata tanpa ada iklan apalagi remunerasi atau gaji. Malahan para pendiri dengan person2 yang menjadi penyiar dan bagian tekhnik harus mengeluarkan biaya sendiri demi untuk mengekspresikan hobinya dan dapat didengar oleh banyak orang.
