PKR calls for disciplinary action against Shafee

The Bar Council has been urged to take disciplinary movement against counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, if it is true that he had not left abroad to aspire to legal counts upon behalf of a government, as well as a budding apportion as well as his wife.

NONEPKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution(left)claimed that this is because he has information that Shafee had performed delay of at least a single of his cases because of a letter.

"If a minute has led to a delay of a case, afterwards we would say, yes, a minute is 99.9999 percent genuine," he told reporters at party headquarters in Tropicana today.

He said this was for a 'Seruan Gemilang v a Pahang government' case, where a Seruan Gemilang counsel was given a duplicate ofShafee's letteras a reason for a postponement.

"The budding apportion must answer: did a supervision designate Shafee and, if it did, shouldn't this be a attorney-general's job? Or was (Shafee) acting for a PM as well as his wife?...," Saifuddin said.

"If he was not acting as their lawyer, afterwards we titillate a PM to report him to a Bar Council...or a Bar Council should take disciplinary action."
