'Selangor MB, 19,000 more moved to new zones'


More than 19,000 purebred voters have been moved to opposite localities as well as not usually Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim, said Election Commission (EC) chief Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof today.

Abdul Aziz told reporters a commission had been working upon range correction since 2004 using a Electoral Geographical Information System (EGIS), after chairing a lecture for MPs upon election-related matters.

"Khalid is not a usually a single whose choosing by casting votes constituency was prepared - so far a EC has rectified a choosing by casting votes constituencies for 19,342.

"We have not conducted any delineation, which would require Parliament's agree as well as dual thirds majority," said Abdul Aziz.
