'Tabung Haji moved RM300k to CEO's account'

A PAS parliamentarian has questioned the alleged send of over RM300,000 from Tabung Haji to the private account of the CEO, Ismee Ismail.

NONE"The government as well as Tabung Haji must insist this," Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar told reporters in the Parliament run today.

"Deputy Finance Minister Donald Lim had answered this in Parliament (and) pronounced it is according to procedure, but he failed to say why. What was the income for?

Mahfuz pronounced the income could not have been in remuneration of Ismee's salary, "which amounts to RM85,000 the month".

He distributed copies of the Tabung Haji request which minute an order from the arch monetary officer to the company's banker, instructing the telegraphic send of the income to Ismee's personal account.

however, it does not state the reason for the send of the funds.

"Why? What for? Is this the reward for the CEO? At the time when Tabung Haji investments are confronting millions in losses, the arch executive is getting the bonus?" Mahfuz asked.
