Raja Ashman Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Shah, a son of a Sultan of Perak, upheld away early today following an asthma conflict during his chateau in Kuala Lumpur.
The sultan's private secretary, Col Abdul Rahim Mohamad Nor, when contacted by Bernama, pronounced Raja Ashman died during 1.30 am during his chateau in Bukit Damansara.
He pronounced a remains of Raja Ashman were brought to a Ubudiah Mosque in Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, for prayers before a funeral during a stately monolith adjacent to a mosque after a 'Asar' prayers.
Raja Ashman, who was known to be a people-friendly person, leaves a wife, Noraini Jane Kamarul Ariffin, a son, Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah as well as dual daughters, Raja Eminah Alliyah as well as Raja Bainunisa Safia.
He was a third of five children of a Sultan of Perak, a others being a Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah; Raja Azureen; Raja Eleena as well as Yong Sofia.
Raja Ashman was appointed a Raja Kechil Sulong of Perak upon March 16, 2010.
