Your Entertainment for a Long Weekend (in Malaysia)
For us in Malaysia, it is starting to be a prolonged week end since Monday as well as Tuesday next week are open holidays. Holiday dependant Malaysians would have taken leave upon Friday to make their journey to their particular hometowns through a length as well as breath of Malaysia. To Americans as well as football fans around a world, it is Super Bowl time (Sunday Feb 5) as New York Giants take upon a New England Patriots.
Dr Kamsiah as well as I are having a severe time to figure out what to fool around for you. We have two holidays to commemorate a Birthday of a Holy Prophet Mohamad pbuh (for Muslims upon Monday) as well as Thaipusam (for Malaysian Indians), both of that have religious significance. This requires critical music. On a other hand, Super Bowl is exciting carnival time for a sports loving Americans as well as fans of American football around a world.
Finally, after a little discussion, we concluded to fool around a little sharp-witted tunes (in jazz tempo as well as pop) from Indonesia (our Indonesian friends have good passion for music) as well as Malaysia. We move to we jazz wunderkind Ermy Hullit, general artist Anggun, Harvey Malaiholo as well as the very own Lady of Jazz Sheila Majid. At Din's insistence, Titeik Puspa sings Kupu-Kupu Malam again. Please have a good weekend. Dr. Kamsiah as well as Din Merican
