The white envelope situation was the deliberate act by Malay rights vigour organisation Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali, pronounced Sri Desa MCA bend chairperson Dr Collin Tiew.
Tiew, who became the subject of gibe after he was photographed subsequent to Ibrahim during the Jan twenty-nine incident, pronounced Ibrahim is good wakeful of Chinese etiquette as well as taboos.
During the press conference in Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur today, Tiew pronounced he arrived during this conclusion after reading an article upon Ibrahim's presence during the Chinese New Year eventuality in Pasir Mas, Kelantan.
The article, which appeared upon Perkasa's website, featured the photograph of Ibrahim donning red in the company of aged folks in Kampung Pasir Tendang upon Jan 21. Ibrahim is the Pasir Mas MP.
"The article also wrote which he gaveang pow(red packets) as well as Mandarin orange to the people. So there is no way he didn't know these have been Chinese etiquette later upon Jan 29," he said.
