Is someone lying? Mindef's Engrish as well as Google compared| See for yourself
When the supervision lies about small things,
can we trust them with large things?
Ahmad Zahidi Hamid, the defence minister, talked poppycock upon Monday about the deformed Engrish used upon the ministry's web site which featured "Clothes That Poke Eye". He said the mistakes have been corrected.
In fact, no corrections have been finished upon the web site. At 5pm upon Wednesday the two-word headline still says "Ethical Clothing" (instead of "Dress Code"). A notice still says "Translations have been not available".
Ahmad Zahidi was lying. Does Ahmad Zahidi or any one in Mindef have eyes? Or have they all lost sight by being poked in the eye?
Apologists for politicians regularly make excuses to say the statesman was misinformed. Just since someone lied to him as well as he in spin lies to the open does not excuse the lie. Ministers have bee! n respon sible to the open for the control of their ministries. If the polite servant lied, he is disciplined. But it is the apportion who takes the rap in public.
That's how constitutional democracy works.
But how often do Malaysian ministers take the rap when proven wrong?
Does Ahmad Zahidi take everybody for fools? Obviously the answer contingency be yes. First since he's still there as defence apportion doing billions of your money. And second, since the ministry could not be worried editing something as elementary as the two-word headline. Too most bother? Just brazen it out? Politics as usual? The open have been as well stupid to care?
What do we think? Do those people in tall places, in supervision or in business, caring what any of us think? Or do they consider the open have been just the garland of saps who just need to be tickled every five years?
Ahmad Zahidi also told the Star which the ministry had used Google's free online translation services, thus implying which Google was to blame. More poppycock.
Mindef didnotpublish the Google translation. What they published is different. Google's translations, in fact, have been both better as well as worse than Mindef's shoddy Engrish.
Mindef's "Clothes That Poke Eye" is Google's "of hardly clothes". Some other parts have been similar to Google's versions, the little have been different. Mindef's Engrish as well as Google comparedSee for yourself whether someone's lying.
The usually sensible thing Ahmad Zahidi seems to have told the Star was which "We did not intend for the English translations to spin out which way" as well as which translations were right away made manually.
Given which he lied about the improvement having been done, which will convince no the single sceptical about the honesty of ministers, politicians, the polite service, as well as any one land open office! .
Malaysians have long endured people in open bureau as well as in open use who speak cock, who look for scapegoats, never confess their own shortcomings, continually make excuses for themselves, as well as acquit inefficiency, shoddiness as well as mediocrity.
Has there been any change, notwithstanding all the billions spent upon them?
When the apportion lies about the small thing how
will we know when he lies about large things?
