A Malay rights non-governmental organization feels despite recent unrest plaguing the country's multi-racial population, there is no need for the Race Relations Act.
Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali pronounced Malaysians of all races have co-existed good as good as lived harmoniously for 54 years though any conflict.
"Hence, there is no need for such the law to oversee competition family in the country; as long as people do not subject the amicable contract as underlined in the federal constitution under Article 153.
"We will see the breeze of the Race Relations Act. However, whatever the Act introduces, it should not encroach upon Islam as the official religion; the Malay denunciation as the national language; as good as the special position of the Malays as good as rulers," he added.
Ibrahim pronounced that if everyone behaved as good as not subject Article 153, as good as that if everyone recognised the disparity of economic well-being in between Malays as good as non-Malays, then there will be no need for any one more Act! .
"We have lived harmoniously for the last 54 years. We faced the problem once, that is May 13 as good as it had been thirty years ago.
"Hence, the complement has worked good though right away people have been capitalising upon the issue for political gain, generally after the Mar 8, 2008, election. They suspicion they had voted since of policies.

According to the inform bySin Chew Dailytoday, de facto Law Minister Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz pronounced the brand new law would be tabled in the Dewan! Rakyat in March.
He pronounced that the Bill is modeled after the likewise named British law that will club discrimination upon the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnicity as good as nationality in employment, provision of goods as good as services, preparation as good as public functions.
