KUALA LUMPUR, December eighteen Utusan Malaysiatoday expressed confidence that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be convicted of his sodomy charge, though predicted that public disturbance would follow the hearing decision.
The Umno daily's columnist, writing underneath the pseudonym of Awang Selamat, charged that Anwar was the initial Opposition leader in the universe to be associated with so most "moral as well as ethical" scandals.
In the weekend book ofUtusan,Mingguan Malaysia,! Awang c laimed to be arcane to report of the PKR-led devise once Anwar is convicted upon Jan 9.
Awang pronounced that Anwar would review to "anything to save himself", as well as that he would not mount idly by as well as accept the court's decision, meaningful that it will be the "most poignant moment in his life as well as domestic career."
"There is the possibility of the unexpected plan. We will await the surprise," theUtusancolumnist said.

"There have been talks of alternative plans, such as travel demonstrations, as seen in his initial sodomy trial. We have not yet even overwhelmed upon the words of PKR emissary boss Azmin Ali, who wants to break down jail walls if his boss is jailed," pronounced Awang.
The columnist pointed out that via the course of his second sodomy trial, Anwar had refused to take the "sumpah laknat" (oath) in the mosque to infer his innocence while his accuser, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, had done so.
"He also repelled everybody by giving the matter from the dock, but irreverence underneath oath in court. This has 'saved' him from b! eing int errogated by the prosecution," pronounced Awang.
Trial judge Datuk Mohd Zabidin Mohd Diah will deliver the preference upon Anwar's sodomy assign next month, after last week's conclusion of the high-profile hearing that began in February 2010.
Anwar has vehemently denied sodomising his former aide, saying that the charges have been partial of an elaborate ploy to end his domestic career.
