PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar called upon Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today to travel his speak upon 1Malaysia by contesting in a churned constituency, such as her Lembah Pantai parliamentary seat.
"When talking about transformation as well as a multi-racial picture of Malaysia, we hope Saifuddin will communicate to a budding apportion that he should consider a possibility of contesting in a churned seat, a 1Malaysia seat.
"From what we know, Pekan has 93 percent Malay voters.
"Therefore, in line with his words, 1Malaysia as well as all that, Najib should competition in churned subdivision like Lembah Pantai," Nurul Izzah told Umno supreme legislature member as well as Deputy Higher Education Minister Saifuddin Abdullah during a domestic forum in Shah Alam.
Her idea warranted a round of applause from a 500-strong audience.
