Ramping up its onslaught upon the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC), PKR has claimed to have unearthed some-more irregularities from monetary annals of the association owned by the family of the federal minister.
"I asked my staff to investigate the monetary annals as well as they noticed these (irregularities)," pronounced secretary- ubiquitous Saifuddin Nasution (centre in photo) during the press discussion in the Parliament lobby.
He suggested which the scandal has extended to involving sure Umno leaders:
1. Cattle value RM5,281 were apparently donated in 2009 to Works Minister Shaziman Mansor; as well as RM2,640 to the state assemblyperson identified usually as 'YB Yunus' in the documents.
2. Cattle value RM70,000 were allegedly sold upon credit to former Federal Territories apportion Zulhasnan Rafique in 2008; as well as the purchase price was usually paid in full in 2009.
3. RM26,400 was allegedly paid for expenses incurred in 2008 by Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, whose family owns the NFC.
4. RM368,640 was pronounced to be used for bureau let as well as paid to NFC directors - Shahrizat's father Mohamad Salleh Ismail as well as their son Wan Shahinur Izran.
"If it is loyal (as purported by deputy premier Muhyiddin Yassin! ) which NFC has nothing to do with (Shahrizat), afterwards she has no business dealing with the company, let alone have the firm compensate her expenses," Saifuddin noted.
"I do not know what she used the income for. But we goal it was not for purchasing make-up or handbags!"
! The asso ciation already stands accused of controversial spending of RM250 million in taxpayers' income awarded to it as the soothing loan, but has not commented to date upon the barrage of criticism.
Problems compared with the NFC operations were first brought to light in the 2010 Auditor-General's Report.
'Just the tip of iceberg'
Saifuddin further claimed which the claims involving Umno leaders have been just the tip of the iceberg.
"We can disclose some-more sum involving some-more Umno leaders in the make use of of the RM250 million in public funds... But we am saving the juicier bits for later," he pronounced when pressed to elaborate.
Saifuddin questioned supervision statements about the 'soft loan'.
If this is true, he said, the association should have been profitable during least RM5 million per annum during dual percent interest.
"PKR's investigate of NFC's monetary papers has yielded no available payments to the government, as well as neither has the dual percent per annum been available as annual guilt by the company," he said.
Malaysiakini attempted to verify the allegations with the parties named by PKR, but did not receive the response.
