NFC scandal: Entire cabinet in the dock

NFC supremo should appear prior to a Parliamentary Accounts Committee to put to rest all questions of impropriety, accountability as well as integrity.

By Lim Kit Siang

Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has pronounced which it was up to a open whether they wanted to accept a reason since for a National Feedlot Corporation's (NFC) "cattle condo" scandal.

Saying which a supervision "already knows a facts", Muhyiddin had this to contend after a NFC senior manager authority Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail had broken his three-week silence upon a "cattle condo" scandal:

"We will leave which to a people to decide whether to accept a NFC's reason or not since a NFC has explained any issue which has surfaced.

"For us, a government, you know a truth. We do not buy stories done up by a Opposition."

Muhyiddin cannot be some-more wrong.

Malaysians not only wish to listen to what a NFC has got to say, but also what a supervision as well as in particular a ministers without delay involved in a RM300 million NFC liaison have got to say.

For instance, Muhyiddin was a Agriculture Minister who approved a RM300 million NFC plan in 2006.

Would Muhyiddin have pronounced in 2006 when approving a NFC plan afterwards which it was l! egally, morally as well as ethically proper for NFC to use 2%-interest RM250 million soft-loan to buy condos?

Questions for ministers

In fact, which is a question every Cabinet apportion contingency right away answer, especially as Muhyiddin claims which a supervision "knows a truth".

They contingency also answer if they suspicion this is not c! riminal crack of trust, as well as if it is not a gross abuse o! f powers as well as open funds.

Muhyiddin should realise which it is not only a NFC senior manager authority Salleh as well as his wife, a Women, Family as well as Community Development apportion Shahrizat Abdul Jalil who are in a dock.

Muhyiddin as well as a entire benefaction Cabinet are also in a dock over a NFC "cattle condo" scandal!

It is transparent which a Auditor-General was unknowingly of a NFC's "cattle condo" scandals when conducting review of a National Feedlot Centre plan from January to March 2011.

Otherwise his strictures would be some-more sardonic than describing it as a "mess".

As Salleh has pronounced which NFC has zero to hide, he should proffer to appear prior to a Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC) which is meeting upon Wednesday upon a NFC issue, to put to rest all questions of impropriety, accountability as well as firmness swirling about a National Feedlot Centre as well as a NFC.
