KAJANG, November 21 Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin now agreed with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad which Umno is tormented with inner squabbles though gave an assurance which a matter is being addressed.
"We all know after Prime Minister (Datuk Seri) Najib Razak took over from his prototype (Tun) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, there were problems, like inner squabbles," Muhyiddin (picture) told reporters now at a press conference here.
"However, to contend which a celebration is not moving to address a problem is not true. But we believe which not sufficient is being done. More needs to be done," he said.
Last week, former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir had criticised Umno for not creation any effective improvements given a 2008 ubiquitous election.
The party's longest-serving president was quoted as observant Umno now lacked good, convincing leaders and which it was a dark shade of a former glory.
Muhyiddin now acknowledged a caustic estimation from Dr Mahathir, observant which a former premier still cared about a celebration and wanted to see it stay relevant and lead a government.
