DPM: Last PPSMI batch allowed to finish in English

PUTRAJAYA, November 4 Students already in a PPSMI complement (science as well as arithmetic in English) might go on in it until a completion of their delegate education, a supervision announced today.

But Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed which it did not meant a supervision was making a U-turn in a decision to scrap a policy.

"With this decision, a abolition of PPSMI stays. The supervision does not devise to reintroduce a policy, as requested by several parties," he told a press discussion today.

Muhyiddin explained which today's decision meant which students between Year Three as well as Form Five subsequent year would be authorised a option of learning scholarship as well as arithmetic in Bahasa Malaysia, English or both languages, as authorised under PPSMI, until they finish their first as well as delegate education.
