Court blocks government bid to seize PKFZ assets

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 The High Court here dismissed today the governments bid to claim RM37 million in resources related to the RM12.5 billion Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal.

Justice Datuk Ghazali Cha ruled there was no proof that the cash as well as the land belonging to 7 companies as well as dual individuals, including Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, were performed illegally.

The supervision had sought the justice sequence forfeiting the resources underneath Section 56 of the Anti-Money Laundering as well as Anti-Terrorism Financing Act.
