Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said which 84 percent of a 87 previously voiced Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) projects have been implemented to date, dousing scepticism on a feasibility of a projects.
Out of a 87 initiatives - twenty-three have been operational, 50 have commenced as well as 14 have been in progress.
Attributing this to a surge of RM21.3 billion in unfamiliar direct investment (FDI) in a initial half of this year compared to RM12.1 billion in 2010, Najib said: This represents s 76 percent surge in FDI compared to a RM12.1 billion in a same duration final year.
This obviously shows which unfamiliar investors have been increasingly seeking during advantages offered by Malaysia, he said.
Malaysia was ranked 21 in a World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Report, up from its 26th mark final year.
