Anderson Cooper peels behind The Onion: we fought to be raped by which Afghan warlord
A row discussion featuring members of the humorous journal celebrating the 1,000th issue was rocked Tuesday by the flaxen-haired cable headlines anchor's intolerable explanation which he was, as the publication reported, taken as "a wife" by an Afghan warlord.
"He was the peaceful lover," CNN's Anderson Cooper, the panel's moderator, suggested to writers from The Onion at the Paley Center for Media in New York.
"I like which we demeanour resigned," Cooper added, referring to the print (above) which ran in 2006 underneath the headline, "Afghan Warlord Takes Anderson Cooper As 43rd Wife."
But the horde of "Anderson Cooper 360" as well as an upcoming syndicated daytime show quickly regretted starting along with the joke at the media panel. "I can see tomorrow's Huffington Post title now: 'Anderson Cooper Calls Afghan Warlord Gentle LoverClick Here to Find Out More!'"
