Magistrates Court denies 10-day remand order

PUTRAJAYA, Mac twenty The Magistrates Court here currently deserted a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commissions (MACC) duplicate to remand 4 group including a former Bank Negara executive to facilitate investigation of purported corruption.

Magistrate Mohd Aizuddin Zolkeply did not grant a 10-day remand order sought underneath Section 117 of a Criminal Procedure Code upon a drift that a reason given by a investigating military officer was not strong.

Following this, MACC has only until 7pm currently to detain a 4 group for investigation.

The 3 other group were believed to be directors of a gold investment intrigue company.
