The call for the longer election debate duration is the double-edged sword. It can have both favourable as well as unfavourable consequences. But if the latter transcend the former, there is consequence in gripping the debate duration to the barest minimum.
So far, the call for the 21-day debate duration was done by Pakatan Rakyat which claimed it indispensable some-more time to reach the voters. Is this the reasonable request?
