MUSA CLEARS THE AIR ON THE NCR ISSUE

WHEN the Dewan Negeri debated the 2013 State Budget recently, Chief Minister Musa Aman made good his recent promise to give the NCR emanate the good airing during the (then) forthcoming State Assembly meeting.

At the Dewan, his opportunity came when Kunak Assemblyman, Nilwan Kabang asked whether the Government condoned the 'abolishment' of the NCR status of areas where the internal local community have assigned for the prolonged time, as good as do so only in order to have the supplies of the Sabah Land Ordinance.
The Chief Minister vehemently denied there had been any such abolition.

- There is the fourth entrance for locals to have the stake in the land which they cultivate. This is in the form community grants, which is, the granting of land to supervision agencies for in situ agricultural development in partnership with locals in the area upon an estimable basis.

Musa disclosed which the state supervision is planning to emanate community grants in Kota Marudu, Pitas, Tongod, as good as Semporna totaling to 47, 177 hectares.

- Finally, the fifth entrance for locals of Sabah to have the share in land development as good as tenure is by the supervision ruling underneath the Sabah Land Ordinance which requires vast companies with land land 1000 hectares as good as above to give the 30% (or 45% if so supposing in the land title) local equity to local or supervision agencies in certitude for the natives. He also reminded the House which he had even educated the Forest Department to stop all re-delineation survey of Forest Reserve bounds which were purported to have encompassed! areas c laimed by the local communities in these areas.

To give members of the State Assembly an idea of the size of local land land in Sabah, the Chief Minister put the overall sum of supervision land allocated to locals during 890, 626 hectares, the sum area larger than Selangor's 795, 600 hectares in all. (Insight Sabah)
